BMW 3 Series E90 Suspension

Suspension for the E90 saloon covers rear-drive and xDrive cars, from the 316 to the 335i, and the M3, which needs its own parts. The M3 with electronic damper control (EDC) is a special case. Bilstein lists a B12 DampTronic kit that keeps EDC, while Eibach lists a cancellation kit for the M3.

For a car kept at its standard height, the B3 range from Bilstein and Eibach’s ERL springs sit beside Bilstein’s B4 replacement dampers and its B6 sport dampers. Several of the fronts are sold for one side only. Lowering springs include ST’s Street Comfort sets as well as springs from Eibach, H&R and AP. Kits pairing springs with dampers include B12 sets, H&R’s Cup Kits and AP kits named by engine.

KW lists V3 and V4 Racing and Clubsport versions for the E90 alongside the V1 and V2, plus DDC kits, and ST’s XTA comes with top mounts. H&R separates rear-drive and four-wheel-drive monotube sets, and Koni adds STR.T dampers.
