Audi A3 8V Brake System

For the A3 8V, the front disc size follows the model: 288 or 312 mm on most engines, 340 mm on the S3 and 370 mm on the RS3. Both of those also have 310 mm rear discs. The hatchback, saloon and cabriolet are covered, along with the e-tron.

The performance models have two-piece options too: Girodisc floating assemblies and EBC SG2F and SG2FC discs. Among the one-piece discs, DBA lists En-Shield, T2, T3 and XD versions, some of them with Kangaroo Paw vanes. PBS lists High Carbon discs and EBC its plain, slotted and dimpled designs.

Sport grades are well represented in the pad list, EBC Yellowstuff and Bluestuff NDX, DBA Xtreme Performance and Ferodo DS2500 among them. Road pads include EBC Ultimax and Hawk HPS 5.0, and race compounds include EBC RP-1, Pagid RSL 29 and Ferodo DS1.11. EBC braided lines complete the brake parts listed.
