Audi A3 8P Coilovers

Many A3 8P coilovers are shared by the hatchback, Sportback and cabriolet, but front-drive cars, quattro models and the S3 often need different part numbers. The RS3 sets, listed for the Sportback, are separate again. The front strut counts too: KW, ST and AP list versions for 50 and 55 mm struts.

KW’s versions differ in damping adjustment, from none on the V1 to rebound on the V2 and V2 Comfort and rebound plus compression on the V3. Each is listed for cars with electronic dampers and for cars without, and KW’s DDC ECU kits bring electronic damping with a control unit of their own. ST’s XA adds rebound adjustment to the fixed X, and the XTA comes with top mounts.

KW’s Clubsport sets, V3 and V4, are listed for front-drive cars, the S3 and the RS3, and H&R’s monotube sets follow the same split. Bilstein’s B14 and B16 kits, BC Racing’s BR series and Eibach Pro-Street-S coilovers round off the list.
