QSP Switches and Push Buttons

QSP’s switches cover the controls a race or rally car needs, from the dash to the battery. Toggle switches come as on-off, on-off-on and momentary types, including waterproof versions and protective covers, alongside LED-lit rocker switches rated at 12 V and 20 A. Push buttons include small, heavy-duty and water-resistant types, and there are starter buttons and complete start panels, some with a carbon finish.

For wiring in groups, there are panels for one to five switches, with LED switches made to fit them. On the power side, the battery master switches include a heavy-duty isolator, a 300 A switch and a quick-fit cut-off that fits on the battery terminal. An emergency cut-off comes with a pull-wire release.

Reset switches act as circuit breakers from 60 to 200 A, with manual or automatic reset, so a circuit can be restored without changing a fuse. A brake light switch with a 1/8 NPT thread is also listed here.

Check the regulations for your series before choosing: the position, marking and type of master switch are usually specified, so plan the switch and its location with the rulebook to hand.
