QSP Fuel Pumps & Accessories

QSP’s fuel pump range covers the pumps, filters and fittings for a car’s fuel supply. The pumps include an in-tank pump, external injection pumps for fuel-injected engines, petrol pumps for carburettor systems, among them a 6 volt carburettor pump for older cars, and a 12 V electric oil pump built around a bronze gear pump. Injection pump supports in single and double versions, made of aluminium with rubber mounts, hold external pumps, and connectors adapt a pump to 8 mm hose or a 1/8 NPT thread.

Filtration is the other half of the range. Inline flare filters in stainless steel come in -6 to -16 (D06 to D16) sizes, alongside an in-tank filter with adapters for particular pumps, a 30 micron replacement element and a filter for the square petrol pump. A universal fuel cap completes the list.

Match the pump to the fuel system: a carburettor runs at low pressure, usually with a regulator, while fuel injection needs a high-pressure pump and a return line. Fit a coarse filter before the pump and a fine one after it, and mount an external pump below the tank outlet so it is always fed.
