QSP Bends

QSP’s exhaust bends are a compact set of stainless steel sections in three common diameters: 51, 63.5 and 76 mm, or 2, 2.5 and 3 inches. Each size comes at 30, 45, 60, 90 and 180 degrees, so a complete run of pipework can be planned in one size from one set of parts.

Two special shapes sit alongside the standard bends. The manifold bends are 90-degree sections in the same three sizes. The cardan bends are long, gentle sections of 650 to 900 mm for taking a pipe over an axle or propshaft.

QSP describes them as mandrel-style bends for custom exhaust or boost pipework. Mandrel bending keeps the bore the same through the curve instead of flattening it. That matters most on turbocharged engines, where the same parts can serve for charge pipes as well as the exhaust.

The range stops at 76 mm. For larger pipework or other diameters, other brands in this category cover more sizes, and joining across sizes calls for a reducer. Weld stainless to stainless with the right filler, and back-purge the joint if you want a clean inside finish.
