Haltech Engine Management Accessories

Haltech’s accessories are the installation and power parts around its ECUs. The largest single item is the PD16 power distribution module, which switches and protects circuits electronically in place of fuses and relays. It is sold on its own, with a 5 m flying-lead harness or with a plug and pin set.

For mounting, there are tube clamp kits for the Nexus R3, Nexus R5 and PD16 in 1.25-inch and 1.625-inch sizes, to fix a unit to a roll cage tube. Rail mounts are listed for the Platinum ECUs.

The wiring parts include fuse and relay boxes, relays up to a 100 A solid-state unit, firewall grommets, multicore cable, harness sleeving and crimping tools for DT, DTM and DTP contacts, among them a hydraulic crimper. For the laptop connection there are USB cables for Elite and Nexus units and Wi-Fi antennas for Nexus. A dual-channel knock-listening kit for tuning is listed as well.

Match the crimping tool to the contact series you use, and choose the grommet by the finished diameter of the harness before cutting the bulkhead. A few parts are listed for particular ECU series, which the product data names.
