Audi A4 B9 Suspension

For the A4 B9 saloon and Avant, check the front strut housing first. Coilovers from H&R, ST and BC Racing are listed separately for a 48.5 mm or a 53 mm strut. Several sets are also split between front-wheel drive and quattro, or between cars with and without adaptive dampers.

KW’s lowering springs are sorted the same way: each set names the drivetrain, a band of front axle load and, on the Avant quattro, whether the car has DRC dampers. Eibach Pro-Kit and Sportline, H&R springs (including height-adjustable sets and sets for the S4 and RS4), ST Street Comfort and AP springs do the same job.

KW’s coilovers reach from the V1 up to V4 sets, alongside X and XA sets from ST, H&R monotube kits and Bilstein’s EVO T1 for the RS4. Bilstein sells dampers alone, from B4 to B8, and both it and Eibach list B12 kits. Eibach’s ERL springs keep the factory height, and cancellation kits from H&R and Eibach suit cars giving up their adaptive dampers.
