Audi A4 B8 Suspension

Saloon or Avant is the first question for A4 B8 suspension, as most sets fit one body only, and many are also specific to front-wheel drive, quattro or the S4. The RS4, an Avant here, has KW and BC Racing coilovers of its own and a KW lowering spring set for RS4s with DRC.

Engine and gearbox can matter too: AP and ST list their spring-and-damper kits by engine, and for some engines by gearbox. H&R’s lowering springs and Cup Kit Comfort have deeper versions beside the standard ones, and H&R adds height-adjustable springs. ST’s Street Comfort, Eibach’s Pro-Kit and Sportline springs and Eibach’s B12 kits are the other routes.

KW’s coilovers, whether V1, V2, V2 Comfort or V3, come in versions for cars with electronic damper control, sold with a cancellation kit, and for cars without. The DDC ECU kits keep adjustable damping. H&R’s monotube sets, ST’s XA and the Pro-Street-S from Eibach are further coilovers, and Koni lists FSD Special Active and STR.T dampers, S line versions among them.
