Audi A4 B7 Suspension

The A4 B7 is listed as a saloon, an Avant and a cabriolet, and many suspension parts here depend on the body and on whether the car is front-wheel drive or quattro. H&R, for instance, lists separate 2WD and 4WD sets, divides the cabriolet springs by vehicle weight and has sets of its own for the S4 and RS4.

Kept at standard height, a B7 can take Bilstein B4 dampers and B3 or Eibach ERL springs, with Bilstein’s B6 and B8 as sport alternatives. Lowering springs come from ST as Street Comfort, and from Eibach, AP and H&R. Where the dampers are due too, the B12 kits of Bilstein and Eibach, H&R’s Cup Kits or engine-specific AP or ST kits replace everything at once.

Coilovers include KW’s V2 Comfort and a V3 Clubsport among its versions, ST’s X and XA, H&R monotube sets and Eibach Pro-Street-S. Bilstein adds a B14 kit for the S4, and BC Racing lists sets that treat the quattro Avant separately from the saloon.
