EBC Brake Shoes
462 products
EBC’s brake shoes are replacement linings for drum brakes, and each listing is one axle set: the shoes for both drums. Most are for rear drums, which many cars with front discs still use, and a smaller group is for front drums.
The listings are identified by EBC’s four-digit shoe number, sometimes with a letter suffix, and that number is the surest way to match a set. Only a few shoes carry vehicle fitment, mainly older Fiat, Ford, Honda, Volkswagen and Seat models. Examples are the Fiat Panda, the Honda Civic of the late 1980s and early 1990s, the Seat Ibiza and Cordoba (6K) and the Volkswagen Polo (6N) and Passat (B2). For other cars, compare the number on the old shoes, or measure the drum diameter and shoe width.
Drum brakes need adjusting after new shoes go in: set the adjuster so the drum turns with a light rub, then check the handbrake travel. While the drums are off, look for scoring inside them and for leaks at the wheel cylinders, and always renew the shoes on both sides of an axle together.
