BBS

BBS was founded in 1970 in Schiltach, in Germany’s Black Forest. Its range here is alloy wheels from 16 to 22 inches in the CC-R, CH-R, CH-RII, CI-R, SR, SX and XR designs. Finishes include satin black, platinum silver, satin titanium, bronze and diamond-cut graphite.

Each listing gives the width, bolt pattern (PCD), offset (ET), centre bore and load rating, and those are the figures to check against your car. Most BBS wheels here have an 82 mm centre bore, so check whether your car needs a centring ring. The common bolt patterns are 5×112 and 5×120, with 5×114.3, 5×130, 5×108 and 5×100 also listed.

BBS wheels are chosen by specification rather than by car model.

Among the wheel brands here, BBS is weighted towards the larger sizes, from 19 to 22 inches. Many designs come in several widths and offsets for the same diameter, which helps when you set up different widths front and rear.
