Wilwood
Wilwood Engineering was founded in 1977 in Camarillo, California, USA. The company designs and manufactures complete brake systems for motorsport, high-performance road use, hot rods, and custom vehicles. Unlike most aftermarket brake brands, Wilwood manufactures both calipers and rotors entirely in-house in the United States.
Their caliper range includes the widely used Dynapro, Dynalite, and Superlite series, available in radial and tangential mount configurations to suit a broad range of vehicle platforms. Wilwood big brake kits are popular for replacing inadequate OEM systems on track cars, offering larger rotor diameters and multi-piston calipers for improved heat capacity and pedal feel.
Wilwood also supplies master cylinders, brake bias bars, and proportioning valves — making them a one-brand solution for building or upgrading an entire brake system. They are extensively used in SCCA road racing, NASA events, oval racing, and purpose-built track cars in North America.
