Simpson

Simpson is an American motorsport safety brand founded in 1958 by Bill Simpson, a pioneer of modern racing safety equipment. Beginning with drag-racing braking parachutes, Simpson went on to help introduce Nomex fire-resistant suits to racing and built a reputation across helmets, race suits, gloves, boots, and harnesses.

Today Simpson Performance Products also manufactures frontal head restraints, including the Hybrid range — the Hybrid S, Sport, and Pro models — an alternative head-and-neck restraint design that some drivers prefer to a traditional tethered device. Simpson safety equipment is used across drag racing, circuit, and oval competition.
