AEM

AEM was founded in 1987 in California by John Concialdi and Bob Sullivan, and is credited with coining the term “cold air intake” in the mid-1990s. AEM Induction designs and manufactures performance air intake systems and air filters for a wide range of import and domestic performance cars.

The brand is best known for its DryFlow filters — washable synthetic elements that use an oil-free filtration media for easy maintenance and consistent airflow, removing the over-oiling risk associated with traditional cotton-gauze filters. Alongside drop-in and universal DryFlow filters, AEM produces full cold air and short ram intake systems engineered to increase induction airflow.
