VHT — short for Very High Temperature — is an American specialist in high-temperature automotive coatings, established in the 1970s and now part of Dupli-Color and Sherwin-Williams. The brand's heat-resistant paints were originally developed to withstand the extreme temperatures of atmospheric re-entry before finding a home in the automotive world.
VHT's aerosol range includes engine enamel, brake caliper paint, FlameProof exhaust and header coating rated to around 1,090°C, wrinkle finishes, and roll-bar and chassis paints. The products are formulated to deliver a durable, professional finish on hot components without specialist equipment.
